Error Concealment | JPEG | MPEG-4 | Wavelet | YUV

Hi all,
I am working on a Image processing project.I take a sequence of images using a ccd
camera.During image capture there is shocks and vibrations on the camera,so the working
distance changes.Is there any possible methods to track the working distance based on analysis
of light intensity in the image. It would be great if anyone can help regarding this.thanx in
advance.
