Error Concealment | JPEG | MPEG-4 | Wavelet | YUV

Hello,

I'm using DM642 to process video.

However, I found that the frames were captured as YUV422 format by the chip on my DM642 EVM.

Then the frames were transformed to be RGB565 format and put into an output buffer.

I now utilize the image data in the output buffer to perform desired image processes based on
RGB color model.

I wonder if the flow is appropriate? 

Or I'm supposed to process the image data before the data are put into the output buffer but as
YUV422 format?

The prefered color model is RGB.
