Error Concealment | JPEG | MPEG-4 | Wavelet | YUV

hai all,
        i want to segment a 2 textured image.how can use the power 
spectral density function (PSD)to seperate the output powers of the 2 
textures in a graylevel image so that the background and the 
foreground texture energies are seperated and the image can be easily 
segmented.can any one help me out in this regard.
