Error Concealment | JPEG | MPEG-4 | Wavelet | YUV

Hi All,

I have an image of the format Nx100, where 100 image sensors generate
100 columns of data to create the final image.

I need to estimate the fixed noise (excluding DC offset) of each
column, which is masked by the uncorrelated white noise.

I would be glad if someone could recommend a good method for
estimating this noise. Any papers, links etc. would be helpful.I am
looking for an efficient method because common averaging is generally
not so efficient.
