Matlab 6 on Pentium 4 under Windows 2000 - Author Unknown - May 23 22:51:00 2001

Hi

Has anyone tried to run Matlab 6 on a Pentium 4 machine running
Windows 2000?

The Mathworks site states that they do not support the P4, and say
that some users have experienced problems (see
http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/27242.shtml).

They claim there is a fix (related to the Java Runtime Environment),
but I was wondering whether anyone is currently using Matlab 6 in
such conditions.

Thanks

Chris

Yes, I applied the fix and is working fine in my P4 Dell 8100 with Windows 2000.

Regards,

Patricio.
