local minima(maxima) - Madalina MAZILU - Jun 14 13:08:01 2007

Hello,
I need to develop an algorithm that needs to perform a segmentation
of a signal according to the local minima(or maxima). The problem is
that when I have a noisy time series I can't to this but manually.
Can somebody give me an idea on how to deal with this problem?
Thank you very much!
