Rayleigh fading channel in an OFDM Tx/RX - saina lajevardi - May 12 7:31:16 2008

Hello,

I have already simulated and OFDM system over AWGN channel. Now, I need to apply flat fading
and frequency selective fading with Rayleigh distribution as my channel effect.
I have tried it and my problem is that I do not know which kind of equalizer I should use in
order to remove the effect of fading.

Anyone has some idea? I would really appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Saina

There are a number of channel estimation algorithms available. The easiest
way would be to use a pilot symbol for channel estimation, and a simple zero
forcing equalizer for equalization.

Frequency domain equalization works well with OFDM making things simpler.

Hope this helps.
