Closing unclosed circles - sandhya nageswaren - Jun 12 13:44:32 2008

Hi,
I am working on the particle analysis and automatic cell counting. I have successfully managed
to threshold the image. However, there is another thing that is a problem. I get a lot of
unclosed circles. This is happening because part of the nanocrystal is merged with the
background.I would like to close the circles first and then use "imfill" to fill
them.

Does anyone know how to complete those circles in matlab? Is there anyway I could close the
unclosed circles.
Please let me know.
I have attached a figure for you all to see.
Thanks in advance,
Sandhya
