Excel Link opens new matlab process. - travis_vetter - Jun 29 0:08:00 2002

Currently opening an excel file whcih calls excel link will execute a
totally independent matlab process. despite the fact that one is
already running! The same is true if i double click a .m or .mat
file. how can i change this to connect to or open in the same
window. alternatively, how can I get teh command window used in
excel link to be of the form normally found in matlab r12.1 with
sidebars etc.

matlab r12.1
Windows 2k pro
office XP pro
excel link 1.3.1( or latest version... i don't recall)
