Section 11.5.2 states that the PWM peripheral runs off the bus clock which is at 40 Mhz maximum!
to run at 100Khz that would leave a maximum resolution of 400 counts per PWM period. or a modulus of 400 if edge aligned, or 200 if center-aligned!

I am not aware of any method that would allow you to increase the resolution beyond 400 counts at 100Khz.

Is it possible to increase the resolution for the PWM output when using
it at a frequency of about 100kHz? I looked at the chapter 11 of the
user's manual and I didn't found my answer. Can I put an external fast clock
on an input to speedup timer the PWM timer/counter.
