Hi, purchased the DSP56F803EVM and it came with Emb. SDK 2.3.5 but it gave an outdated link to mot-sps to get the registration key for the 2.3.5 and the SDK page listed 2.4.1 but no downloads, and one had to order that trough mail, and it can take weeks to arrive, and the 2.4.1 key does not work for 2.3.5 and this unwanted surprise/delay costs both nerves and money, so, is there anyone from motorola on this list who could give an installation key for the free DSK2.3.5 while waiting for the free sdk 2.4.1 from the mail ... Really need your help here, and would appreciate, Thank You, S.M. |

Hello, In recent
weeks we have redesigned our web site, which made some links invalid. To
install SDK 2.3.5, you can use SDK 2.4 installation key, which you can download
from the SDK web site. To reach new SDK website, please follow these
directions: Go to the
following location: http://www.motorola.com/semiconductors (Go to Products,
and select “Digital Signal
Processors”/”Development Tools”/”Software Development Tools”, and
press GO.
Select Embedded SDK link from this page). I would
recommend that you upgrade to SDK 2.4.1 as soon as possible, since it will allow
you to work with the latest CodeWarrior patch 4.0.2, it fixes some of the SDK
2.3.5 bugs, and it includes some new motor control algorithms (vector
control). Thank you. Leonard N.
