I am currently using Codewarrior to program the DSP through it's JTAG port and it doesn't generate a checksum when a file is loaded through the JTAG port. I am looking for something out there that actually has a checksum generator integrated into the JTAG programming software. Any clues? (Note: using something like winhex to get a checksum isn't a solution as that it needs to be part of the programming software) I've done about 50 google searches and haven't found much for the DSP56F80X, and ideas would be welcome. Thanks.
