.elf.s and .elf files - max_mont - Sep 17 10:09:00 2003

Hi,

I'm developing an application on PC commnicating with DSP to
remplace PCMaster.
I'd like to be sure that symbol file (.elf) corresponds to the
programm in DSP (.elf.S file).
That's implemented in PCMaster : when I connect and the elf file in
not the good one, PCMaster displays a warning.
How does it do to know the correspondence between the 2 files ???
Is the date stored in files or is it an ID ???

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Maxime
