DSP56805 EVM time out on SCI - Manfred Plagmann - Oct 13 1:30:00 2003

Hi, I am operating the serial port in blocked mode and wonder if it is possible to set a timeout for this mode of operation? I would like the program to resume if no data has arrived for more than say 2 seconds. Many thanks. Manfred
