Hello all,
I am looking for some (any) example code for the Motorola 56L811EVM. Maybe something that sets up the Codac, reads in a waveform and spits it back out again. Something to get my feet wet. May finial goal is a low pass audio filter then some I/Q stuff. Is there a free or cheap C compiler for this processor? Thank You, Tom |

This chip has been dead and extinct for quite some time :). I would recommend that you consider upgrading to the DSP56824EVM while it is an older part as well it is still supported and you will have an easier time finding example code for it. Our older releases of CodeWarrior contained DSP56811 example code (just like simple LED code), but we don't include it any longer, and I don't have it to make a copy for you. There is no free C compiler or toolset out there for this processor. CodeWarrior for DSP56800 is your only option. Unfortunately,
DSP56L811 has been discontinued for several years now and is not supported
product. I would recommend for you to use DSP56F826EVM
instead. Sincerely, Leonard N.
