ADC on the DSP56F805 - Roger Flor - Oct 19 7:31:00 2002

Hello

I am trying to run the ADC on the DSP56F805 What is this ADCA_QUEUE_DEPTH that may be initialized in the appconfig.h? I
have tried looking for the description of this parameter in all the
available manuals but there is simply not much detail.

The SDK user's guide says that this is the "ADC channel queue (FIFO) size in
bits " and that "Unless this value is redefined in appconfig.h, it will
default to 16 bits."

Does it have something to do with the fact that the ADC has only 12 bits of
resolution and then the result is stored in a 16 bit register?

thanks

Roger
