Looking for speech recognition component - yani...@gmail.com - Jun 5 8:43:14 2006

Hello
I am a software engineer with OO experience. I came up with an interesting algorithm for AI and
interaction with a machine voice interface.
It seems like I have all my theory lined up, and demo works perfectly, and I want to test my
learning algorithm on a "live" machine.
Looking for an open source speech recognition component turned up nothing. There is no
component that I could find, which could translate incoming voice into simple text or xml file
for further processing.
Can any of you guys give me a hand ? The component can be Java, C, C++, PHP or any combination
as long as it follows input:mic/recording output:text/xml/any usable readable output
stream/file.
Thank you very much, and if you're interested in learning more about my idea I’ll be glad to
explain.
Yaniv
