Hi! I am an undergraduate student and my instructor has assigned me the
semester project of implementation of the M.E.L.P. codec on MATLAB. I have no
clue as to how it works. Can anyone please suggest some freely available
material that is EASY TO UNDERSTAND regarding M.E.L.P. I have to start from the
very beginning and I know nothing about speech signal processing or speech
codecs. So I need the very basics. Please help. According to my instructor, even
understanding M.E.L.P is not very easy.
