Marcos- If you need the reference implementation of G.723, you may go to www.itu.int and for free (the first three recommendations are still free upon registering), download their "reference" implementation. On the good side it is complete bit exact with all the test vectors, but it also is extremely slow due to inefficient programming style. Another choice is Sun Microsystem's implementation of G.72 on the internet (I do not have a specific site to give you), which you can download for free. The good thing is that this implementation of the codec is optimized for the Sun Sparc Systems. The bad thing is that it fails two of the test vectors.
