Spectral Band Replication (SBR) - #ARIJIT BISWAS# - Aug 5 14:25:00 2004

Dear multiple recipients of the list:
I was thinking about the Spectral Band Replication (from Coding Technologies):

http://www.codingtechnologies.com/products/sbr.htm

And, I wish to do some fast experiments with this idea. But, I have a doubts:

If I understand this correctly, is it something like Decimation (by factor 2),
then Interpolation (by factor 2), and multiplication by 2? Note: at this moment
I'm not interested about the envelope correction in the high frequency band!

Am I going in the right direction or the other way round, is my thinking
correct?

Hope that someone corrects my mistakes!
Best Regards,

~Arijit
