Difference among G.723, 729, 726 - Ramya Desai - May 9 2:31:00 2005
Dear Experts,
I am new to this group and speech coding (But not to
DSP)
I want to know the details of G.723. But from ITU web
site its not available and it recomended to use G.726
and G.729.
What are the basic differences among G.723, G.726,
G.729 ?
How can I get G.723 standards ?.
Regards,
Ramya.

Dear Ramya,
I guess you're interested in G.723.1 instead, which is the ACELP 5.33...
kbit/s and MP 6.4 kbit/s coder. The original code has been reused with a
suffix...
I hope this will help.
Regards,
Miguel
