Hi Guys, It looks like the IEEE management drank the Kool-Aid of political correctness. On page 2 of the most recent issue of the IEEE Signal Processing magazine was the following notice: "IEEE prohibits discrimination, harassment, and bullying." Since they're listing prohibitions, I think they should add plagiarism, theft, spousal abuse, cannibalism, pedophilia, and bacon to their list. Ha ha, it's interesting to see how smart people do silly things. See Ya', [-Rick-]______________________________

Which smart people? Editors or lawyers? They should also add a clause that makes sure animals are depicted in a dignified manner. I remember a little mid-2000 marketing accident involving a ceiling fan and a virtual cat that lead to one major company putting this into its "code of conduct".______________________________

When the mayor (Marion Berry) of Washington DC spoke of drinking the Kool Aid (1987) he was referring to the Jonestown massacre. However the people of Jonestown drank Flavor Aid. Kool Aid is more famous than Flavor Aid, so it got the bum wrap. Clay______________________________

Some time ago, I was wondering about UTP ethernet with a 220VAC common-mode voltage. As I understand it, someone tested it and it works fine.
