Hey Jerry -- About that Tagline - Tim Wescott - 2012-07-10 00:50:00

Jerry:

I'm going to steal your tagline for a presentation.

"Engineering is the art of making what you want from things you can get."

Is that yours? Should I attribute it to someone (you, perhaps)?

A quick search coughed up a bunch of newsgroup posts by Jerry, and one
attributed quote -- to Jerry.

Well, this is a seminar about taking the tools you have and making the
stuff your boss wants...

I'm sorry to have been away so long. The quote is mine. I made it up to
fit in a 72-character newsgroup line. Somebody in Australia has it
hanging on his office wall (woo hoo!). Use it with or without
attribution. There is no copyright.
