It never ceases to amaze me that the "JESUS IS LORD" people and the 
"MIRACLES OF THE HOLY QURAN" people can be so similar, yet view each 
other as so far apart.

It's a stilted telling, but "The Kindgom of Heaven", the one
with Orlando Bloom doesn't do a half bad job of sketching out the basic
color and shape of the original thing.

If nothing else, the portrayal of Saladin was one of the best things I 
will ever see in any media. They really should do *that* movie, IMO.

What we get is like 1000th generation copies of what in a lot
of cases were trade wars, land grabs or brutal wars
of succession  masked as holy wars. And a lot of this
happens for the same reason people buy really big pickup trucks.
