TMS320F240 - Christian Christmann - 2004-06-08 15:58:00

Hi,

I'm using the Texas Instruments TMS320F240 DSP and
the Microsoft Composer Studio to write the code for
it. But this program is kind of buggy and causes
pretty much problems.
That's why I'm looking for a development tool which
is running under Linux.

Can you give me a hint?

I'w was looking in goolge but didn't
find anything.

Another problem I have is reading out data from
the DSP. More accurate, the DSP is part of my robot
and I'd like to figure out the acceleration. In order
to accomplish it, I'm reading out the velocity (via wheel
encoders) in a regular period of time and store the values
in an array. But when I plug the dsp to my PC the values
are erased.

And hints how to get the values?

Thanks,

Chris

Hmmm, Microsoft is a company who sell the development
tools Composer Studio. i don't think you can run
Windows on this DSP, maybe Windows 0.2 ;)

Mmmm ... what Chris was trying to say was that its not Microsoft who make
Code Composer Studio. Texas Instruments make and sell CCS.
