Motorola Audio EVM Board with DSP56371 Daughter Board for sale - crissx - 2008-02-07 05:19:00

Hi all,
is there anyone who need an 56371 EVM Board for Audio DSP?
The Board is originally Motorola.
There are
6 x Stereo output (chinch)
2 x Mic input (3.5mm jack plug)
1 x Headphone (3.5mm jack plug)
4 x S/PDIF output el. (chinch)
2 x S/PDIF input el. (chinch)
1 x S/PDIF output opt. (Toshlink)
2 x S/PDIF input opt. (Toshlink)
PC connectoers:
1 x serial
1 x parallel
1 x USB
Ext. power supply

The board was designed for testing an developing signal processing for
surround applications (dts, Dolby) and I think it's still up to date.

I don't need it anymore (by the way, it is nearly unused) and want to
get rid of old junk ;-)

In addition I also have
1 x Motorola DSP56002 EVM Board
1 x Motorola DSP56303 EVM Board
1 x Analog Devices SHARC ADSP-21061 EVM Board

Does anyone need this boards?
I don't want (can't) simply throw them away.

Hi,

that's the same family chip as used in ProTools TDM, so I am interested
inasmuch as it might take me closer to making a TDM plugin (only snag
being that I can't afford a full ProTools TDM system yet...). Failing
that, it might be good as a standalone experimental B-Format decoder.
What would shipping costs likely be from (I assume) Germany? I am in the
UK. Does it have sdk, docs, etc? I have an old DOS-based 56001 toolset
(Suite56 etc) somewhere, but it won't know about the 563x family.

Feel free to email me offlist, etc.

Anyone interested in 56371 development should also check out the new
low-cost board that Freescale recently released:

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=SYMP_SOUNDBITE&nodeId=0127952D4A2D79

Symphony SoundBite - $150. Includes board w/ DSP56371, 4 stereo codecs
(one with optical SPDIF), expansion connector, switches, LEDs,
microphone, USB download/debug interface and CD with Eclipse-based
development tools. I got one this week and have been coming up to
speed on it. Nice.

emeb is right.
Symphony SoundBite is functionally comparable to the Motorola AudioEvm
Board.
But conectors are more hifi like.
More Information on
http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=DSPAUDIOEVM&fsrch=1

You can see the prices there as well. $750 for the motherboard and $250
for the dougtherboard. It's different to the Symphony SoundBite in detail.
Tools are still available on www.freescale.com

But don't panic, I don't want to become rich with selling it.

I know this post was very old, are any of these boards still available?
