Hello there,
I am very new to real time processing but very experienced with image processing
algorithms. I was just wondering what it takes to get my hands on? What devices
and software do I need.
I know that my question is rather too general, but all I need is to know what a
real time image processing system should include, considering that I want to use
a usb sensor. What kind of boards accept usb image streaming to be processed,
and how should I hook it up.
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi,
You can use an Analog devices EZKits(DSP) for starter. It has a USB port to connect to USB. All you need is the EZ kit, VDSP++(analog devices compiler), camera and a TV. VDSP also comes with some handy modules, on which you can build your Image Processing Algo's.
