How to delete rows/columns?

Started by ali shamsaie October 22, 2002
Dear friends,

How can I delete a single row/column or an array of rows/columns from a matrix?

Is there any specific command in matlab for doing this?

Thanks.

ali

Just use

X(rows:cols) = []

e.g
X =

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

X(2,:) = [] -- removes the 2nd row..
X(:,2) = [] -- removes the 2nd column... Kind Regards,
