Hello, I am looking for a plugin that can playback G.723 3-bit ADPCM encoded data. I know that the standard .wav file header can take the following information: *Code* *Description* 0 (0x0000) Unknown 1 (0x0001) PCM/uncompressed 2 (0x0002) Microsoft ADPCM 6 (0x0006) ITU G.711 a-law 7 (0x0007) ITU G.711 ?-law 17 (0x0011) IMA ADPCM 20 (0x0014) ITU G.723 ADPCM (Yamaha) 49 (0x0031)

Hi all. I am recording voice using ML2390 codec. It records speech in the ADPCM format. Now I wish to listen to the recorded data to validate whatever I have recorded. I need an ADPCM decoder for that. I tried out downloading numerous ADPCM players and decoders from the net but none proved to be useful. Can anyone come up with some solid solution for the same.? Hi, I'm having a problem with my adpcm codec and I will appreciate any advices/suggestions given. I have downloaded my g726 adpcm codes onto a dsp(c5510) and I fed in an analog signal(sound card output) into the processor. The output is however disappointing as there were a lot of noise and static. The functionality of the adpcm codes is not in doubt as I had used the ITU test vectors

We're using the Intel/DVI ADPCM algorithm. It works well but it distorts the audio beyond our specifications (greater than 7% THD+N for frequencies greater than 2KHz). I am thinking triangular dithering the signal before it is compressed may help (using 16-bit samples). When toggling the least significant bit of the sample between -1, 0,1, is this a "random" operation
