Does anyone know of an example project that utilizes C++ class/object based development inconjunction with the DSP/BIOS? All of the examples that ship with CCS 2.2 are straight C style programs, most of them don't use DSP/BIOS much (other than LOG trace!) either.

Hi all, I know there are a lot of threads on this problem but I haven't found one that solves my problem. I am using the dsk5509a evaluation board, CCS v3.1 with DSP/BIOS config. I have some variables that require dynamic allocation. Each is a maximum of 400 Bytes (7 of these = 2.8KB). I had initially allocated a section of the SARAM for the heap but given that failed I allocated some d...

Hi! I'm using timer 0 interrupt to sample data from an external ADC via McBSP1. The problem is that the interrupt routine only runs a limited number of times and then the program goes out of line. The CCS displays the error message: "Processor communication timeout". I'm also experiencing that variables in the .bss section are being overwritten by some unk

Hi again, I thought it might be useful to point out the following: The working code I developed using CCS V3.3 (evaluation version) works on both 5509 and 5509A boards when compiled in V3.3. If I then compile it with V2.21 it will work on the 5509 board but not the 5509A board. It appears to be hanging in one of the three IMG_xxxxxxx functions.
