Thanks for the reply, Jeff. I believe that this is a CSS problem, as somebody has posted about the same problem before (can't find the link now) and fixed it by changing some linker settings in CCS. Here's an example of the code that doesn't work: //sine8_intr.c Sine generation using 8 points, f=Fs/(# of points) //Comm routines and support files included in C6xdskinit.c short lo...

Hi, I've got Rulph Chassaing's book "Applications Using C and the TMS320C6x DSK" and I'm trying to use some of the examples - specifically fft256 and loop_intr, but they don't appear to do anything! Examples such as the tone project in CCS work fine, it seems to be anything using the functions input_sample and output_sample that doesn't work. (Everything builds and runs fine for fft256 and loop...

hello, My name is Girish Yajurvedi, I am a graduate student in Louisiana State University. I am working on Induction Motor control using TMS320f2812 dsp. My query is regarding the CCS software. My Lab has Code composer studio'C6713 (version 2.21.00-TMS320C6713 DSK specific Code Composer Studio from Texas Instruments) obtained along with DSP Starter Kit (DSK) for the TMS320C6713 by spectrum digit...

Hi all... I'm porting a driver for a CAN device (the CAN module in the TMS320{LF,C}2406A DSP in fact) over to a CAN library that I have written. (I hope to release this library and drivers as opensource, but that will come later). Anyway... so as to make the CAN library easily extendable, the core CAN library (which manages queueing of the messages and device access arbitration) accesses th...

I found I was running out of ram so I couldn’t put my programs on the chip (I am currently using a 2809 chip, yes in the 2808 dev board). When I put the program into flash instead every print statement would seize the program – so I disabled the end of program breakpoints which sort of worked, this made the program run all the way through, however now the program never halted and th

I believe I'm missing something in the following script - If I flash the project under CCS, it runs great, if I flash the same project (no rebuilding) with this script, I sometimes find breakpoints I didn't have before, but more worrisome the program hangs partway through - I get some of the output on the CCS stdoutput tab, but not all - I'd rather capture this output to the cmd.exe window or pref...
