There is some g.722 ADPCM code in the Digital Signal Processing Applications Using the ADSP-2100 Family book. Does anyone know if it actually works? We are translating the code into a newer DSP and we think we have found some mistakes. Can anyone point to some working sample code, examples, etc. (I know where to buy the standard)? -- Al Clark Danville Signal Processing, Inc. ----...

Hello, I intended to use the AT49BV040B-TU Flash Device from Atmel to boot my TS201 but I've learned that the device will be discontinued. Now I'm searching for a replacement and was wondering if anyone could suggest one. I was under the impression that Visual DSP++ has built-in flash drivers within their Flash Programmer tool and that it supported certain flash devices. I've searched their w...

Hello All, There is a necessity to connect the 16 bit SPI DAC to the SPORT on the ADSP BF531 (silicon rev. 0.3). I am initializing the SPORT in the prescribed manner: TCLKDIV = 2 TFSDIV = 31 // just in case TCR2 = 0x000F; // word length - 1 TCR1 = 0x7603; // alt. framing mode The SPORT is supposed to work like the SPI: a write to the TX register should generate the SPI cycle. Hey, I'm implementing a flanger effect as part of a guitar effects processor on an ADSP-21364 development board. A Flanger effect is produced by adding a single delay to the current input sample, the length of the delay is dictated by a sin wave which i have in aa lookup table. This implements a comb filter. My problem is that on top of the desired output I am also getting a 'police si...

One thing I am confused about is where is the kernel kept when the board is powered down. Is it kept in the DSP internal RAM or do i need to put it in the flash as well? I am a little confused about this. I ask thi...
