Dear All, We have implemented a high speed qpsk demodulator in a FPGA demodulator board. Until now we fed the I and Q inputs from another board by wire. Now we are looking for an IF board that can take a 70 Mhz RF signal and output the I and Q signals to be fed to our FPGA board. Can anybody recommend one? Thanx in advance

Hi there, I do have some problems with my ADSP 21992 EVAL-Board. The board runs fine as long as I communicate via the USB Interface with the board. If there is a 10 minute break in the USB communcation (just writeing code under Visual DSP++ 3.0) without using the board - VisualDSP loose the connection with the board. The error message comes up: Error reading opcode for breakpoint at ...

Hi: I have recently begun using an EzDSP board from Spectrum Digital for the TMS320F2812. On the board is a FPGA implementing an embedded JTAG emulation port, which talks to the PC via a parallel printer port. I am thinking it is possible to use this board as a JTAG emulator for a TMS320F2812 chip on *any* board, such as one I design myself. That way, I could have general purpose J...

I've been given this new board to bring up. I see two problems (maybe they're related). The board features external RAM mapped from address 0. The DSP is configured to run in Microprocessor mode for now during debugging and just load directly to RAM from the XDS510USB JTAG emulator. The connection to the board seems to be fine and I can manipulate values in RAM. 1. I cannot step. Try...

Hi, I am starting out with DSPs and I want to buy a board. From the research I have done, the OMAP Beagle board is the cheapest at about Rs.13000($260), but then I have no idea how to do DSP on that. Does anyone know of a cheaper, 'pure' DSP board which I can get in India? Analog Devices boards, by the way, seem to be way too expensive. Thanks, K. K

Hello, Um, I know this is a DSP forum but I can't find any similar discussion groups for analog devices, and there seems to be a wide range of useful subjects discussed on these boards so I am hoping someone can give me some pointers. I am having a problem with an ADC evaluation board I purchased recently (AD7266). The board comes with an optional Eval-Board-Controller, which can be use...

Hi guys, I'm testing a blackfin DSP board and wanted to get the opinion of you guys on what the best way to ensure that everything works on the board. I've desigined a blackfin dsp board and having it sent to fabricate. I plan to assemble it myself. How would you go about testing that the board is fully functional? Thanks, I appreciate it! JC

The latest Code Composer doesn't seem to support this board in any case. I tried usin...

Hi all, I'm writing an app which allows me to load a .out onto my dsp board, and in turn to communicate with my board (C6711DSK). So far I have been successful using handshaking, but I would also like to interrupt the board and I cant seem to get this working. Greetings: It seems likely that I will be using this in an upcoming project, though there is some possibility that I might instead use a '6000 series TI DSP. I may use the EzDSP board to do prototyping, but would eventually need a board with integrated analog circuits to buffer and clamp the incoming analog to the chip's A/D, perhaps I may need 16-bit A/D and D/A converters.
