hi, greetings, I am doing a project using ADSP TS 101s EZ-Lite board. The problem is like this: I have some data between 0 and 1, and I will output these data to the linkport on this board. I want to find a device that convert this data to a PWM generator as the duty cycle input. Any input is highly appreciated. thanks paul

Hi I have a custom 5502 board. I have been able to write code to it's SDRAM and execute form there. My problems (unexpectedly) are coming from flash. i can access it's flash when i burn my code in it and using flashburn i also compared the flash contents of my board versus the EVM5502 board and i found that they were the same. My GPIOs are always(before reset adn after reset i have ...

Hi, I'm looking to buy a DSP evaluation board to play around with in my sparetime. I prefer fixed-point DSPs, but floating-point is also ok. Audio sampling rate should be minimum 24kHz. The board is primarily going to be used for audio signal processing applications (hearing aids). Requirements: * Algebraic assembly language (like the algebraic assembly syntax of Analog Device...

Hello, I recently got an ADUC831 microconverter board, and am interested in experimenting with DSP applied to an audio input and/or output. A friend who is knowledgeable about these boards recommended "passing audio input through an op-amp to protect the board." His meaning appears to be that I should connect my 1/8 in. jack to an op-amp, and the op-amp to the ADC input, in such a way th...

I'm looking for guidance on writing a software PLL for a signal acquired from a data acquisition board: The daq board will be sampling at 10kSPS. The signals to which I'd like to lock on to are from 5Hz to 1kHz, sine or square wave. The output of the PLL will be used to multiply a signal acquired on an adjacent channel of the daq board. Lock-in amplifier application. The processing of the sig...

Hello everyone, it's been a while ago since someone asked here for an DSP eval board (for audio processing) that's got a SAR analog-digital converter. Theoretical it should be possible to reach very low delay between an audio input and the output after processing by a DSP. Does anyone know a device with a fast SAR ADC (that could be used for audio processing)? A board with suiting anti-aliasi...

While I have only a 40MHz clock connected to a 10 bit ADC, nothing connected to the analog input sockets, the chip is Analog AD9218 (ADC chip) EVM board. On the LA, sampled outputs are 0~16 for one channel, -32~0 for the other channel (400 MHz timing mode). Is my board faulty? According to my simulation in digital design, my sampled inputs (10 bits each) can not have noise higher than 1 ...

ADI and TI have standalone development boards for the 21992 and F2808, respectively, but I'd like something that plugs into a PC's PCI bus. Hello all, I've been hunting the web for a DSP evaluation board with the following criteria: 1) Floating Point DSP Processor 2) C programming capabilities 3) On board sampler. 50-100 MSPS (~20MHz bandwidth RF signals) 4) Standard I/O features (USB or Serial, etc) The thing that I find hardest to locate is the on-board sampler. Most eval boards only offer audio samplers. Do these types of...

Hi, I am having difficulties trying to flashburn led.hex (created from led.out) onto DM642 EVM board. From my understanding, it is only after the FPGA is programmed via the fpga_loader program that I will be able to modify the FPGA Flash Page Register to boot my application code from PAGE1. So if I were to flashburn my application onto DM642 EVM board,I would have to: 1.) flashburn my...
