Hi, I hope, this is a right newsgroup for my question. I have a DSK with C6713 DSP. I'm sending data to McBSP by EDMA. Data is testing sequence, Uint8 Buffer[256]. Buffer[0] to [255] = 0xAA (10101010). Peripherial frequency is 100MHz. All is configured by DSP/BIOS Config. When I set McBSP Clock freq. Divider to 4 (one bit = 40ns) everything is OK. I know I can use C-style I/O functions with a UART by using the add_device function in the runtime library but that doesn't do interrupt driven I/O does it? I'm developing on DSK with C6713. A want send data by EDMA at 100MHz to McBSP0. I configured EDMA and McBSP by DSP/BIOS Configurator. But, there is a problem. When I set Element length XWDLEN to 16-bits, everithing is OK, but, when I set Element length to 8-bits, output data are inconsistent. Example, when I sending 0xAA (10101010) at loop... 16-bits - OK - 1010101010101010...
