Hi everyone, (I hope this question hasn't been asked elsewhere on this website. My apologies in case it has been.) TI has discontinued C6711 DSK in favour of C6713. Does someone know any place where I can buy C6711? I'll go for C6713 if its impossible to buy C6711. It's just that some of my friends/colleagues have C6711 and it would be easier for me to get started on this DSK. (I am almost a...

Hi, I have recently adquired a THS1206 Daughter Card. I have a C6711 DSK. I know about DSP (theory) but not that much about hardware. I tried to look for programs or information on the web, but I cannot find programs for the THS1206 and the C6711 DSK. Can someone send me a demo program in Code Composer where a C6711 and the THS1206 is used? Att., Juan A. Torres-Rosario

I have the C6711 DSK but was wondering if there were any more suitable boards available once you have done your evaluation. By this I mean something (small) with flash memory, two A/D and two D/A for instance and all battery powered. It should also have a USB or download port for the program.Or do I have to design my own! regards Tom

Hello everybody, I have been working for about 3 months with the c6711 dsk and I have become quite familiar with its most important features. I have also developed a number of applications using both C and assembly. For input and output purposes, I used the on-board AD535 codec, either by means of polling or by using the interrupt INT11. I am interested in developing an application with 3 or 4 ...

A bit of background, I am using a C6711 with Code Composer (2.20) making use of the CSL. Hi everyone, I am looking for a trick to output 6 (binary) signals simultaneously from the C6711 DSK board to feed a RF circuit. To retrieve these signals from the board I would like to avoid any external module (daughter card or home made circuits) because we have a limited budget for a small demo. I know c6x Dsp's have GPIO registers that might be very useful but I don't how to make a c...

I'm implementing this algorithm in TI's c6711 dsk, and also using PCM3003 codec to get two input's from the microphones. Good Day, First my apology for not using right terms(not familiar) I have bought a c6711 from ebay. I need to know some thing about it. What is the maximum sampling rate I could achieve. I have used sound card in Linux for data acquisition(voice) maximum sampling speed with my laptop was 140000 samples/sec which means i could analyze frequencies up to 140000/2. now I want to use c671...

Hi My C6711, which runs on a custom board, runs way too slow. My peripherals include one asynchronous device (a PAL) and one SDRAM. The Profiler Clock shows 6 cycles/ASM statement when single-stepping. However, when not single-stepping, instruction timings are even worse. I thought this was a cache problem, so I configured the system to work without an L2 cache - this did not seem to mak...

Hi, I have a C6711 DSP and am running a encoder/decoder using the audio example of TI. I need to set the sample rate to the lowest possible value. I nthe documentation is mentioned that it is possible to reduce the internal clock rate to the factor N*256. I can set 1-256 in the DSP/Bios tool (sample rate generator). Thus my question is, is this the right place? and where can I set the N ...
