Dear All, I am trying to denoising some simulated images by using a Gaussian filter. I would check if my results are right by deconvolving the output images in the frequency domain. Suppose that Image_out is the output of my filter, in the frequency domain we should get: F(Image_out)=F(Image_inp)*F(Filter_Gaus), where F() represent the Fourier transform. As a consequence the deconvolution re...

I have a program about the pulse propagation The program is: I have a input gaussian pulse ,the form is A(0,t)=E0*exp[-(t-t0) ^2/T^2]*exp[i*wc*t] and it's fourier transform form is A(0,w)=sqrt(2*pi)*T*E0*exp[- 1/2*T^2*(w-wc)^2], now when the pulse propagation along the z direction ,and in position z, the spectrum is

Dear all: I got some data, and I converted the data to the frequency domain by taking fast Fourier transform. Also,I calculated the power spectrum at various frequencies. However,I want to know the ratio of the characteristic (single)frequency's power to all frequencies' power.I

Hi, I have a fourier transform problem in Matlab. I have time domain data of a system and i want to see the frequency response of the system. I tried many codes, but the magnitude or natural frequencies were not correct. I m sending a sample time domain data attachment. "h.rtf" consists the time domain response, and "t.rtf" consists the time axis.(Please open them with WordPad or Matla...

Help. Where it go wrong? Get A N length even symmetric real valued vector ,Fourier transform it and result a spectrum vector with the same length N,which the imaginary part must be zero. In contrast to that, A N length odd symmetric vector should result that the real part of spectrum is zero. But I test and perform it and attain a wrong result. Where it go wrong? Here is matlab script to...
