I think rather this is a problem in the linker.cmd file you have. For me it indicates the memory overrun, but I have defined an own region in the linker command file and it works this way. (But with dynamic assignment this feautre doesn't work.) Georg Bende Softwareentwi

Hi all, Does anybody know if I can find a DSP56F827's driver for the KS0724 Samsung graphic LCD controller (or anything close to it). Or should I start doing the dirty work of writing such a driver? Thank you in advance Ari

Hello, A strange behaviour from the IRQB - it calls the NORMAL-Interrupt even though it is disabled. At init stage, the IRQB is disabled. At debug, I read IPR=0xFE05, which is ok. The init is done while archDisableInt() is in effect. When I enable interrupts

Hi all, I've come across a problem. The sw has some constant data, which is copied after reset from pflash to RAM, as one big block - the data is mirrored to RAM. It seems that the this constant data block is placed after the sw in pflash. Now, that t

Hi all, I'm using the DSP56F827 for almost 4 years now. And after I changed computers, I'm having problems with the connection to the board through JTAG. The problem appears with the CodeWarrior and the flash_over_jtag. Plus, it appears on our proprietary board and on the EVM too. I can't connect to the board. The funny thing (not so funny :-( !!

Hi Boaz I see on p.4-13 of the 56800 Family Manual (ITCN), a test register TCSR, with bits 8..13 called "vector". That's just enough bits to encode the 64 interrupt vectors. Text says that these bits "show the output of the current active vector".

Hello, I have many strings in my sw. The takes a lot of space. The strings are defined as: const char STRING1[] = {"HELLO"}; This puts the 8-bit ASCII codes in lsb of 16bits addresses. The above string takes 6 words(with EOS=0x00 char).

I would like to input a clock signal into a gpio pin on the dsp56f827 which has been generated from timer_A2. (Timer A2 physically wired to the GPIO pin) I then want to compare the clock signal input to the GPIO, to a clock signal on timer_A3. If the signals have
