Moin, Has anyone use a serial connection for JTAG/Once like proposed in the manuals (paraccum.pdf/pcium.pdf) with TDO of one DSP connected to TDI of the next one? Manual says it is possible, but I am not sure if CCS or ADS56300 support this configuration. Thanks, Stefan

Hello everyone I'm new to the group but was wondering about the diffrence in the way I'm loading my program because now I'm using the serial bootloader that came with metrowerks 7.0 and my 56f803 keeps reseting itself back into the bootloader. It is a random occurance so its not like its always doing this its just once in awhile it will reset back to bootloa

Actually I just remembered a situation where we have seen this sort of thing (ie unhandled interrupt) in our systems. It happens if we leave the parallel JTAG cable connected to the system after the program has been downloaded. Of course, this is the normal situation when you are debugging

I guess I should of asked this question first but as anyone sucessfully sent a srec file over a wireless link? my DSP is going to be enclosed and I do not want to have to take it apart every time I modify the DSP code. eventually I'll probably just flash with jtag when firmware is finished but as of now its a pain because the board is inside the robot. I'm c

Hi to all, I've finished a design with a DSP56321, and i am now debugging the hardware. My approach is nothing original: i just copied from the DSP56321EVM schematics the part between the processor and the PC's parallel port, and wish to use SUITE56 to load a program into the dsp's memory. This part consists only in a few line buffers/drivers and
