Thank all of you for help!
I can draw the conclusion that XDS510 supports DM648 with proper
driver.

Since this is a recent device you will need recent drivers. Download
the latest emulation drivers from Spectrum Digital:
http://support.spectrumdigital.com/ccs33/
It has a DM648 target defined for cc_setup.

Hi vcar,
As the emulator connects via JTAG I suppose (actually I haven't tested
DM648)
that there is no difference. I would give it a try.
(If there is a JTAG hook possibility on your target board).
Regards.

I misuse the word "simulator", and what I mean is that I have XDS510
USB hardware emulator. The problem is that I do not know whether this
emulator could work well with DM648.

Hi vcar,
Don't know what you mean with "simulator" as XCS510 USB is the name of a
JTAG programming interface (hardware) to the DSP.
It has at first nothing to do with a "simulator".
But I suggest it should work also for DM648.

new project, the DM648 is used. While does it also support DM648? Need
I buy another XDS560 simulator?
