I would check to see if you have breakpoints defined in your files and
whether you are set up for hardware breakpoints or not. If you have hardware
breakpoints set, which is what you should have set if you are debugging from
internal flash, then you only have a single hardware interrupt to use. Debugging
from external RAM has some benfits in that you can set software breakpoints and
you can have as many breakpoints as you wish. But this does effect your speed of
operation if you have both your program and data external.
Thanks.

Hi,
I came back on a recent project with the
DSP56F805EVM and when I tried to use the debugger I got this warning
message:
Breakpoint Warning Unable to set all the breakpoints
requested. Some breakpoints may be disabled and will not stop the
processor. So, I didn't set any breakpoint, the code was working fine some
weeks ago and I had just reboot my PC. Can someone give me a clue on
what's going on with the EVM board or CodeWarrior? Thanks,
Bruno
