hi, I did not see ur .rco file, so maybe i can not answer it correctly.
but...

---but I cant read that file properly b---ecause bit stream file should contain only two values representing 0 -----and 1.---.but here, this file contains varying values.
but why do u think it? Why do u think the stream file only inlcude 2 value?

hehe, what is bit stream? It is only binary bit excatly. Only decoder can read the bit stream file using a unpacking function.

cheers

hi to all,

I am currently working on G.723.1.
I have ITU-T implementation of G.723.1.
here G.723.1 encoder takes .tin as an input and gives .rco as an output. it means that .rco is a bit stream file. but I cant read that file properly because bit stream file should contain only two values representing 0 and 1..but here, this file contains varying values.

anyone knows how to read this bit stream file....
perhaps it gives output in octet format and i am reading file in hex format...is that a problem?..can anyone help me in this?...

please give me solution........
