You have not responded to my question... The problem for me it to know what I can suppose you knowing about the stereo multiplexing and handling of the required operations in sampled- data domain. If this is a study project we definitively will not provide you with a cook-book answer. Also, as a consultant, I usually get paid for such work. -- Tauno Voipio, MSEE

Hi Tauno, I am still waiting for your help in Matlab. I know how to plot for the pilot frequency. But i doesnt know how to plot the L+R and L-R region on Matlab. Please help me on how to plot those region. Thank You

Yes, it is. It is important to direct our responses so that we do not spoil your opportunity of learning. It is possible to use a mathematics program to simulate the processing in a DSP, also in your case. First, you need to make the important design decisions how to achieve your goal. This is the same process for a math program and for a DSP. -- Tauno Voipio

If the best i will proposed my theoretical software as MathCad... But well im not that good in Mathcad so i choosed Matlab.

Hi Tauno, Doing some research before i proposed my project. Need to hand in my proposal next week. So was thinking whether to proposed my theoretical as Matlab software solution... Any idea on Matlab? Thankz

Hi Richard, This is something i was think about. Doing some research before i proposed my project. I read from the DSP e-book and i learn of how to the FM stereo component work... Now i was thinking how to apply to a matlab or mathcad... Is there a way to generate out from the software? such like generate out the output graph that look like the component of FM stereo with the RDS. Is this project valuable to do? Plz comment... Thankz.

Hadn't thought of that. Perhaps that is an example of a question with 70% of the context assumed? Richard Dobson

My guess is that he's attempting to simulate the multiplex used on top of a FM radio transmission, including the sub-carrier encoding, i.e. what you get from the FM demodulator. -- Tauno Voipio tauno voipio (at) iki fi
