I feel you pain, I had to go into the surface mount
connector business when working with the 827. Check out this page for info

The DSP56858EVM has these really different Berg connectors for bus expansion. I looked them up--they don't look to be easy to deal with. Any suggestions on how get to the expansion bus without getting deep into the surface mount connector business? |

I know Motorola has an office in Guadalajara but I don't have a telephone for them.
