Hi Rammya,

If you are using AD1941, DSP from SigmaDSP family from Analog Devices (I2C Control Interface), you do not need to do any C programming for DSP. However, you will need to attach a MCU (or MCU within FPGA, for the purpose) with which you can control the SigmaDSP via I2C. It will take you some time to develop it from scratch, plus all the debugging needed, plus understanding the SigmaDSP registers and how to write/read from them.

We are an Analog Devices' 3rd Party Collaborative Network Member and since a few years have been working very intensively with SigmaDSP (http://www.analog.com/en/third-party-developers/embedded-processing-dsp/sanjaac-electronics/tpd.html) and have several design-wins with top audio equipment manufacturers in Brazil (2nd largest audio market in the world) and USA, based on SHARC and SigmaDSP. If you want, you can contact us to discuss how could we better support you and your company with this effort, from providing MCU code to control the SigmaDSP from an external MCU, all the way up to providing a turn-key reference design tailored to your product/project needs.

You can contact me for that purpose to the address j...@sanjaac.com

Kindest regards,

Betreff: [audiodsp] Speaker Management System

Hi....
I'm new to DSP field.I'm asked to develop a speaker management system(to control delay, crossover, level etc) Since i don't have hand on experience in DSP,also feeling difficulty in handling C.Previously i was working in FPGA design category, also i'm thorough with verilog language.
Is it possible to develop this system with the help of any FPGA kits.
If not please suggest me a programming tools for DSP,i'm using AD1941.

sincerely
Rammya
