The DSK board schematic shows one clock input signal, VC_MCLK, coming from
one
oscillator, designated Y2A, going to the AD535. You might try putting a
socket
there
and then you at least can try different clock frequencies.

hi
page 17 of the data manual for AD535 talks about how the sampling rate of
codec
is derived from the master clock and the external clock divider
circuitry.Also
the codec can operate upto 11.025 Khz of sampling rate.
So the key is how to vary/program the external clock divider to get the
required
sampling rate in the codec.
But the very last pages of the data manual which talk about programming the
codec does not reveal any any options to modify the sampling rate.
Is their any way to modify the external(on board) clock divider circuitry
which
porvides the clock to the codec?
thanks a lot

I think the sampling rate for AD535 on DSK C6711 board is fixed at 8 kHz,
unless
you
mod the hardware.

hi all
Does anybody know how to modify the sampling rate of the codec/AD535 of the
DSK6711 kit.]
