Subject: [motoroladsp] motorola dsp eval. boards?

Hello,

I would like to learn about DSPs. I have seen that some eval boards
from
motorola DSP56807 cost about 300$ and the new DSP56802T60 cost near
60$
(more suitable for my budget).

I would appreciate your advice for buying an eval board. My intention
is
to learn about motor control and DSPs so I have thouht in one of the
DSP56800. I would like also not just an evaluation board but also a
cheap debugger/programmer for developing the software. Does the eval
boards come with a debugger, what software do I need (IDE, compiler).

Sorry for hitting you with so many questions,

Thanks a lot and best regards,

Javi

Hi Leonard,

The first link in your mail return with errors. Is it only my web
browser or do your link perhaps need updating?

Another thing, is this offer also valid in South Africa? I think I
read somewhere that the offer was only valid in certain countries.

Kind Regards
