This may be a longshot, but hopefully someone out there can give me a
conclusive answer.

Is it possible to alter the menu that is displayed when you right-click on a
block in Simulink? I am using Simulink Version 3.0.1 (R11.1) on a Windows
98 system. Short of this, is it possible to alter the menu bar (e.g. add an
entry under the 'Tools' menu)? Basically, I want to add an item to one of
these menus that will allow me to call a callback function. Any ideas or
references that anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.
