Thank you for the response. I am aware of the ideal performance of the circuitry on the board but was curious if anyone has measured actual performance. TomC

I haven't measured it. However the board uses AK4556 codec in standard connection without any other signal conditioning circuitry. If the layout is correct, it should perform to the datasheet. That is ~100dB SNR, ~80dB THD+N; typical for consumer audio class. Vladimir Vassilevsky DSP and Mixed Signal Design Consultant http://www.abvolt.com

Has anyone measured the audio performance of the Freescale Soundbite
audio board using simple pass through code?

I am interested primarily in THD, freq response, etc....at 16/24 bits,
44.1/etc fs.

Thank you ,
