hi group,
i'm new to adsp programming. I've installed VDSP V2.2 environment. i'm using 21061 processor.i created the ldf file according to the board specifications and the compilation is perfect. i get the *.dxe file also. but the problem is my memory map doesn't correspond to what i've specified in the ldf file. though at the definition section of the map is exactly the same way i've specified in the ldf file, the actual storage of seg_pmda starts from 0x0 causing writes into system (read only) registers and producing bizarre outputs. i guess it has to do something with the project options. has anyone encountered a similar situation?. if so, kindly guide me where i should look for. i've put my entire program code into external memory and defined the seg_pmco accordingly. is there anything to be taken care while using external memory as program memory?
thanks in advance.
regards,
